In Ontario homeowners in some new subdivisions are banned from hanging laundry out to dry. Recently Aurora mayor Phyllis Morris ran a successful Right to Dry campaign, pushing for her constituents right to hang our their washin!. Ontario's Conservation Chief is now recommending this for all of Ontario.
It's so ridiculous eh? I remember in Kanata (part of Ottawa) they can't hang clothes lines or paint their fences a different colour from their neighbours. Because difference must be baaaaaad.
