Laundry on a Barcelona Line

Amazingly enough, this photo was caught on a bus riding past the Sagrada Familia which is the first photo in this post. You can imagine the delight of seeing this stunning building and then looking up to see my first Barcelona laundry!

A more realistic photo of laundry in Barcelona, and anywhere else in urban centres for that matter.

Around every street corner in the Gothic District is a laundry rack like this one. I am so envious of all the balconies there. If I lived in Barcelona, I would definitely want one of these racks and heaps of plants on my balcony. And a push bike for sure.

Carolina took this photo from below the rack here. She was so excited to get knickers and bras from below. A first for this site I think!

Laundry on a Venetian Line

Laundry on a Soho, London Line

This one comes from my dear friend Su. She spotted it in Soho (London) and had to post it here of course. Thanks Su. You're a damn good friend girl.

Laundry on a Canadian Line

This one comes from Christopher in Kingston, Canada. He came to a conference in London a little while back and we got to talking about the blog. I am so happy that he remembered to send me his laundry on a line. He's one of the those wonderful people that come into your world for a weekend and then wander off to other adventures, only to pop up again later. Thanks Christopher!

More Laundry on a New Zealand Line

This comes from Jessica!

"I'm an American living on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand. It will pour for two minutes without warning while the sun's still out, so we put a line on the covered patio to keep from getting soaked. Here it is..."

Thanks!
Jessica
